ITALIAN EGGS | |
2 eggs 2 cloves of garlic (peeled) Parmesan cheese (any brand) butter salt and pepper, to taste ketchup (if wanted) In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter until it begins to bubble. Remove from heat and add mashed garlic and leave for 1-2 minutes (do not allow to brown). Whence the garlic simmers crack the 2 eggs open and let the eggs to cook for 15-20 minutes (Cooks Note: We cooked our eggs for 4 to 5 minutes). When the eggs are done put the Parmesan cheese on top and let them cook for a few minutes more or just until the cheese has melted. Add a little ketchup, if desired. Serve.
