APPLE - CHEESE CASSEROLE 
1 lg. can apples or applesauce
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cheese (mild)

Place apples in flat type baking dish. Mix flour, sugar and grated cheese together; sprinkle on top of apples. Put pats of butter on top and bake for about 30 minutes at 325 degrees and bread crumbs, dot generously with butter and cheese.

Pour over half of cream cheese. On top of the cream sauce spoon half of the mushroom soup. Repeat the above, beginning with asparagus. On top of cream sauce spoon other half of soup without thinning. Rinse can with a little water and pour over top. Sprinkle top with fine bread crumbs; cheese and butter. Bake in moderate oven about 40-45 minutes.
