MARVIE BARS 
1 pkg. caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1/3 c. chopped nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup of the milk over low heat. Mix together the remaining 1/3 cup milk with cake mix, butter and nuts. Press half of this mixture in a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 6-10 minutes. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Then spread caramel mixture on top. Cover with remaining cake mixture. Bake for another 15-18 minutes.
