PEANUT BRITTLE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. water
2 c. raw peanuts
2 tsp. baking soda

Cook sugar, syrup, and water on medium heat until the syrup will spin a thread, about 238 degrees - soft ball. Add peanuts and cook until it is light brown, about 320 degrees. Add soda. Stir quickly. Pour on buttered tray or cookie sheet. As it cools enough to touch, begin pulling from the edges and keep pulling until the center is reached. Pull as thin as possible. The pulling is MOST important.
