1 lb. sweet, unsalted butter
2 c. dark brown sugar
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
6 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. chocolate chips
2 c. nuts (chopped)

Mix together butter (softened) and sugars. Add eggs and stir, then vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients and add to butter mixture. Fold in chips and nuts. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
