BAKED BRISKET 
3 lb. straight cut beef brisket
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. water
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
Salt & pepper to taste

Place the beef - fat side up in heavy baking pan. Mix together remaining ingredients, pour over beef. Cover tightly and bake in a 300 degree oven until tender, about 3 1/2 hours.
