CHERRY PUDDING 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tbsp. shortening, melted

Sift dry ingredients and add to shortening and milk. Stir until smooth. Pour into well-greased baking dish. 1 1/4 c. cherries 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. butter

Boil cherry juice, sugar, water and butter and pour over cherries. Pour cherry mixture over the pudding and bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
