1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream together butter and peanut butter. Gradually add sugars, creaming well. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Blend in dry ingredients. Shape into balls. Roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and press a chocolate kiss into center of each cookie. Return to oven and bake for 2 to 5 minutes longer.
