DILLY CASSEROLE ONION BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast (or 1 cake compressed)
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
2 tsp. dill seed
3/4 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 unbeaten egg

Soften yeast in water. Combine in mixing bowl, cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill, salt, baking soda, egg and yeast. Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition. Cover and let rise in warm place (50 to 60 minutes). Stir down dough and turn into greased 8 inch round casserole (1 1/2 or 2 quart). Let rise in warm place until light (30 to 40 minutes).

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes. Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
