2 thinly sliced round steak Yellow mustard Salt & pepper Dill pickle sliced lengthwise Sliced bacon, raw Chopped onion or sliced Cut all fat from steak. Cut in approximately 3 x 5 inch lengths. So it can be rolled, salt and pepper. Spread mustard on each cut strip of steak. Then layer 1 slice of bacon, 1 slice of dill pickle, onion. Then roll meat and filling like a jelly roll. Wrap with white thread. Brown in electric skillet or Dutch oven. After browning add a little water. Cover and simmer until done. |
