CHOCOLATE LAYER PIE 
1 c. plain flour
1 stick butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix flour and butter together and press into a glass baking dish (7 1/2 x 12).

Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1/2 of 9 ounce container Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust.

Mix together chocolate pudding mix and milk. Spread on top of first layer. Spread remainder of Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with pecans.
