POTATO BACON CHOWDER 
8 slices bacon, diced
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. water
1 3/4 c. milk
1 c. condensed cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
Potatoes, diced (as many as desired)

Fry bacon until crisp. Add onion and saute 2-3 minutes. Pour off fat. Add potatoes and water. Simmer 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are done. Add soup, sour cream, and milk. Season and heat. Serves 7 cups.
