POLYNESIAN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 c. celery, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
1 c. peas (frozen are best)
1 c. chow mein noodles
1/2 c. uncooked rice

Brown meat lightly in skillet. Push meat aside and saute onions in meat drippings. Add rest of ingredients except chow mein noodles. Bake in casserole dish in 350 degree oven about 1 hour and 15 minutes. During last 15 minutes of baking time, sprinkle the chow mein noodles over top.
