CHOCOLATE FUDGE PIE | |
4 oz. (same as 4 sqs.) unsweetened chocolate 2 sticks butter (real butter makes this pie) 2 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. warm milk 1 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs, beaten 2 (9 inch) pie crusts, unbaked 1/2 c. chopped pecans Melt chocolate and butter in large saucepan; add sugar, milk, vanilla, eggs and nuts. Stir well; DO NOT BEAT. Pour into unbaked pie shells and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or longer until firm. (Cut off oven and leave in about 5 minutes more). This pie will freeze well. |
