CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE
ICING
 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 sticks butter
2 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift flour and sugar together in bowl. Put water, cocoa, and butter in saucepan and bring to rapid boil. Pour over dry ingredients; mix well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake in greased and floured cake pan for 20 to 25 minutes at 400 degrees.

ICING:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

5 minutes before cake is done, bring first 3 ingredients to rapid boil. Mix in remaining ingredients and spread over warm cake.
