CHOCOLATE CINNAMON CAKE WITH
ICING
 
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and cinnamon. In a pan, mix cocoa, water, butter, shortening and heat to a boil. Pour over dry mixture. Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla. Mix all together. Pour into greased and floured 9x13x2-inch pan and bake for 30 or 40 minutes at 375°F.

ICING:

6 or 7 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix milk, cocoa, and butter in pan, bring to a boil. Add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Pour over hot cake.
