PERSIMMON PUDDING 
1 pt. persimmon pulp
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 pt. milk
5 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 lb. butter

Add soda to persimmon pulp and beat in sugar. Add milk and well beaten eggs. Stir thoroughly. Sift all dry ingredients together. After they have been sifted and measured, add to persimmon pulp mixture. Beat until smooth. Add butter, may be melted but not hot. Pour into greased and floured pans which are 3" or 4" deep.

Bake in 300 degree oven. Bake 1 hour, will use 7"x9"x2" pans. (My dad baked many persimmon puddings. The recipe above was his favorite.)
