MOTHER'S PERSIMMON PUDDING 
1 c. persimmon pulp
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. dates
1/2 c. cherries
1/2 c. nuts
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of salt

Melt butter. Beat egg and mix with milk. Add dry ingredients. Add persimmon, raisins, dates, nuts and cherries. Steam in a buttered baking dish placed in a pan of hot water for 2 hours at 350 degrees.
