MOTHER'S RAISIN PUDDING 
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

SAUCE:

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. butter

Butter a 6 x 10 inch Pyrex dish. Mix batter ingredients as listed and pour in buttered dish. Mix sauce ingredients given and bring to a boil. Pour over batter at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes. Serve warm. Top with Cool Whip.
