PERSIMMON PUDDING | |
1 qt. persimmons 1 lg. sweet potato 1 c. sugar 1 c. sweet milk 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. nutmeg Butter the size of 1/2 egg, melted 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour Melt butter. Stir in sugar until creamy. Add eggs, 1 1/2 cups flour, soda and nutmeg. Add milk and remainder of flour. Stir in persimmon and grated sweet potato. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan in 275 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. |
