HOT PEPPER JELLY 
2 c. water
1/4 c. hot pepper, chopped
3/4 c. green bell pepper, chopped
1 c. white vinegar
6-8 drops green food color
6 1/2 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) bottle Certo

Boil chopped peppers and water for 5 minutes. Strain out peppers. If necessary, add enough water to the liquid to make 2 cups. Put this liquid, vinegar, green color and sugar in large saucepan; bring to a boil. Add Certo. Boiling to a full rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute. Pour into hot jars and seal. Yield 9 half pints.
