3/4 lb. cooked seafood (shrimp, lobster, crab, or combination) 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms 1/2 c. melted butter 1/4 c. flour Paprika 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dry mustard Dash of cayenne pepper (or Old Bay seasoning) 2 c. milk Grated sharp cheese Saute mushrooms in butter for several minutes. Blend in flour and seasonings. Add milk gradually and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Dump into greased casserole dish and top with cheese and paprika. Bake at 400 degrees until cheese melts. Serve with rice or pasta on the side. Note: You may use this to fill pastry shells. |
