BAKED CHEESE GRITS 
4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 c. uncooked regular grits
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 eggs, slightly beaten
Fresh mushroom slices
Fresh parsley

Bring water and salt to a boil; stir in grits. Cook grits about 30 minutes or until done. Remove from heat and add next 3 ingredients. Stir until cheese and butter melts. Gradually stir about 1/4 of hot grits into eggs, add to remaining grits stirring well. Pour grits into a lightly greased 9 inch quiche dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Garnish with mushrooms and parsley. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
