FREEZING CORN

S tart with boiling water in a big pot (Dutch oven). Then add corn. Start to time after water is reboiling again: small ears for 7 minutes; medium ears for 9 minutes; large ears 11 minutes. Then put in ice water in sink for 4 minutes. Use a serrated knife to cut off the cob. Put in freezer bags and into the freezer until you are ready to use. (Make sure the air is out of the bags when you close them.)
