BRISKET OF BEEF 
3-4 lb. brisket
1 med. sliced onion
1 pkg. Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. water

Heat oven to 350. Put onion on bottom of covered roaster. Season meat with salt and pepper. Sprinkle onion soup and stewed tomatoes on meat. Add water. Cover and bake at 350 for 3 hours. Remove meat and pour gravy into food processor. Slice thin and pour gravy over meat. Reheats well. Serves 6.
