PERFECT BROWNIES 
1 oz. sq. of unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sifted enriched flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts.

1. Melt chocolate over hot water.

2. Thoroughly cream butter and sugar.

3. Add eggs and beat.

4. Blend in melted chocolate, vanilla and flour.

5. Mix nuts into batter or sprinkle them over the top after butter is poured into the pan.

6. Pour batter into greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan.

7. Bake in 325 degree oven. Then frost with Fudge Frosting if desired. Makes 12 brownies.
