1 bottle strong whiskey - 4/5 or quart
1 c. honey
2 tbsp. caraway seed
1/2 tsp. whole black pepper
1/2 stick cinnamon
1 sm. clove
2 or 3 whole allspice
Juice of 3 oranges
A little rind from oranges
A little lemon juice (optional)

Put all ingredients into a quart kettle or coffee pot. Cover tightly so alcohol will not evaporate. Bring to a boil and quickly remove from fire. Be careful it does not boil over.
