SHERRY WINE CAKE | |
1 box yellow cake mix (without pudding) 1 sm. box instant pudding vanilla (3 oz.) 3/4 c. oil 3/4 c. cream sherry 1 tsp. nutmeg 4 eggs Mix cake mix and pudding. Add oil and sherry. Beat at high speed. Add 1 egg at a time, beat between. Then beat 5 minutes more. Mix nutmeg in last. Oil and flour or spray tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees after 40 minutes test. May take a little longer. Watch; do not over bake. Turn out at once. Sprinkle with powdered sugar after cake is cold. |
