CALIFORNIA STIR FRY | |
1 bag boil in bag rice 1 lb. shrimp 1 lg. sweet red pepper, coarsely chopped 1/4 lb. pea pods 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 2 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. soy sauce (use lite) 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper Cook rice according to package. Stir fry shrimp, red pepper and pea pods in oil for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cook 1 minute. Stir in rice. For low cholesterol, high fiber version use brown rice and 3/4 pound chicken cut in strips and stir fry for 3 minutes. |
