ITALIAN COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
2 eggs
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
2 c. cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

4 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

Cream sugar and butter then add eggs (one at a time) beating well after each one. Fold in sour cream then add flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla.

Mix well. Pour 1/2 of batter in a greased and floured bundt pan. Mix topping ingredients and place 1/2 of topping on batter in pan. Add remaining batter and then remaining topping.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
