HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
1 3/4 lb. potatoes
1/2 c. stock
1 onion, finely chopped
4 slices bacon, diced & fried
Salt & pepper
Vinegar
3 tbsp. chopped chives
Caraway seed

Cook scrubbed potatoes in boiling water until done. Remove from heat, douse with cold water and peel while hot. Slice potatoes immediately and put them in a bowl with warm water or stock. Add onion and fried bacon. Season to taste with salt, pepper, vinegar, chives and caraway seed. Serve warm with bratwurst!
