BLUEBERRY BARS 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (21 oz.) can blueberry pie filling
Ground nutmeg
1 recipe Lemon Frosting

LEMON FROSTING:

1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture, stirring until blended. Spread half the dough in ungreased 15"x10"x1" baking pan. Carefully spread blueberry pie filling over dough. Drop remaining dough from teaspoon over pie filling. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. While warm spread with Lemon Frosting. Cool and cut into diamonds to serve.

FROSTING: Combine ingredients and blend well. Add a little milk if necessary to make of spreading consistency.
