CHOW - CHOW 
1/2 bushel green tomatoes
6 lbs. white onions
2 lg. head cabbages
6 lg. red peppers
6 lg. green peppers
6 hot peppers

Grind all of above through course food chopper (I use food processor now) put in 2 cups salt and let set 1 hour then drain. Make a bag with: 1/2 box cloves 1/2 box allspice 1/2 box (lg.) pickling spice

5 lbs. sugar

Bring to boil and add: 1 box mustard seed Spice bag

Boil for 15 minutes. Add vegetables, let simmer for 30 minutes; add 1 box turmeric after 15 minutes. Put in hot jars, seal.
