EVERYBODY'S FAVORITE CHILI BEANS | |
1 lg. onion, chopped and sauteed until clear 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck 1 (16 oz.) can sliced stewed tomatoes 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 (4 oz.) can chopped mild green chilies 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans 1 tbsp. onion powder 4 tbsp. chili seasoning 1 tbsp. chili powder Crumble and brown ground chuck until all pink is gone; drain. Combine all remaining ingredients and add to meat. Add salt to taste. Simmer 1 hour. Serve with a dollop of sour cream topped with grated cheese. Freezes well. Serves 6. |
