APPLE - BUTTERSCOTCH BREAD | |
2 c. biscuit mix 1 c. rolled oats 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. chocolate chips 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. broken walnuts 1 egg, well beaten 1/4 c. milk 1 c. canned applesauce Combine first 5 ingredients. Add chips, raisins and nuts. Combine eggs and milk and add. Stir in applesauce and beat vigorously 30 seconds. Spoon in greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Cool in pan 10 minute, then on rack. Don't slice until next day. |
