FRESH APPLE BREAD | |
4 eggs, beaten 1 c. light brown sugar 1 c. oil 1 c. white sugar 4 tbsp. sour cream 2 tsp. vanilla 4 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 2 c. apples, chopped (3 apples) 1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped Combine first 5 ingredients and beat well. Sift flour with soda and salt. Blend egg and flour mixtures. Fold in apples and pecans, mixing until blended. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 F. for 1 hour, or until sides pull away from pan. Freezes well. |
