3 1/2 c. sugar 1 lb. butter 1/2 c. shortening 6 lg. eggs at room temperature 6 c. plain flour 1 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. almond flavoring 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring 2 tsp. lemon flavoring Cream first 3 ingredients. Add eggs one at a time and beat after each. Add milk and flour alternately. Mix well and add the flavorings. Pour into a 12 inch tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cool in pan about 15 minutes before removing. |
