MOUSSAKA 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. oil
1 med. sized minced onion
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 (4 oz.) jar mushrooms
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
4 c. sliced potatoes

Brown ground beef. Add onions and cook until they are tender. Stir in 1 1/2 tablespoons flour. Add spices and seasonings and mix well. Add tomato sauce and mushrooms. Stir and simmer 15 minutes. Cook sliced potatoes in boiling salted water until partially cooked (about 5 minutes). Drain.

In oblong baking dish layer 1/2 of the potatoes, 1/2 of the meat sauce and 1/2 of the shredded cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
