PAUL'S LASAGNE CASSEROLE | |
2 tbsp. salad oil 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 lb. hamburger, crumbled 1 stick of sliced pepperoni 2 sweet peppers, chopped 1 (8 oz.) lasagne noodles 1 lb. Ricotta cheese 1 green pepper, chopped 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 lg. can tomatoes (No. 2) 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese Saute hamburger and garlic in the oil, then add the next 7 ingredients and simmer 20 minutes. While it simmers cook noodles in boiling salted water about 15 minutes and drain. Fill a big buttered casserole with alternate layers of noodles, cheese, tomato meat sauce and Parmesan, ending with a layer of sauce and Parmesan. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. |
