APPLE CRISP 
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. oatmeal
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease an 8 inch pan and mix brown sugar, oatmeal, flour, cinnamon and melted butter. Press about 1/2 of dough into pan. Slice 4 cups apples onto crust. Cook the sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla until thick. Pour over apples. Sprinkle remaining dough over and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Double for 9 x 13 inch pan.
