APPLE CRISP | |
4 c. apples, sliced, peeled and cored 1 tbsp. lemon juice 6 oz. undiluted apple juice concentrate 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. oatmeal 1 tsp. cinnamon In a large bowl mix apple slices, lemon juice, apple juice, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Pour into an 8 x 8 inch buttered pan. In a small bowl mix 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup oatmeal, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Use a pastry blender and mix until particles are the size of small peas. Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until apples are soft. |
