POPPY SEED BUNDT CAKE 
1/4 c. poppy seeds
1 c. buttermilk
2 sticks butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Cinnamon-sugar mixture
Butter

Soak poppy seeds in buttermilk for 15 minutes. Mix butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and flavors, sift flour with soda, baking powder and salt, three times. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk alternately to creamed mixture - fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Grease Bundt pan well. Put in 1/3 of batter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture - do this 2 more times. Dot top with butter and bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
