ORANGE - ALMOND SALAD 
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. almond extract
3 med. oranges, peeled and sliced
1 c. thinly sliced celery
2 tbsp. sliced green onion
1/3 c. toasted slivered almonds
6 c. torn, mixed greens

In screw top jar, combine oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and extract. Cover and shake well to dissolve sugar and salt. Chill. At serving time, in large salad bowl combine greens, oranges, celery and onion. Sprinkle with almonds. Pour dressing over and toss gently to coat. Serve at once. Serves 6 to 8.
