ORANGE - ALMOND SALAD 
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. malt vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. almond extract
6 c. torn mixed greens
3 med. oranges, peeled, sliced crosswise & halved
1 c. thinly sliced celery
1 to 2 tbsp. sliced green onion
1/3 c. toasted slivered almonds

In a screw-top jar, combine oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and almond extract. Cover and shake well to dissolve sugar and salt. Chill. At serving time, in a large salad bowl, combine greens, oranges, celery and onion. Sprinkle with almonds. Pour dressing over and toss gently to coat. Serve at once. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
