CHINESE FRIED RICE WITH BACON AND MUSHROOMS | |
3 tbsp. bacon drippings 3 c. cooked rice 1/2 c. green onion and tops, chopped 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 c. mushrooms 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 c. celery, diced 1/2 lb. bacon, fry crisp and crumble Heat bacon drippings in skillet, add onions and celery. Cook until tender. Add mushrooms, rice and soy sauce. Cook 10 minutes on low heat. Stir in beaten egg and cook only until egg is done. Add bacon and mix well. |
