PANCIT BIHON (PHILINO CASSEROLE
DISH)
 
1/4 c. cooking oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, minced
1 c. boiled pork, sliced thinly (chicken or shrimp can be substituted)
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. celery, thinly sliced
1 pkg. rice sticks (Oriental)
1 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. tiny carrot strips
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. salt
2 hard boiled eggs, halved

Brown garlic in cooking oil. Add onions, pork carrots and cabbage. Season with soy sauce and toss for 2 minutes. Add broth and simmer. Add celery. Toss with rice sticks. Toss until rice sticks are soaked completely. Season with salt. Serve on a platter and garnish with eggs.
