BAKED SCALLOPS AND MUSHROOMS 
4 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. minced garlic
3 tsp. sherry
8 fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 lb. bay or sea scallops
Paprika
2 tbsp. bread crumbs

In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Add garlic and saute over low heat for 2-3 minutes, remove from heat, add sherry and set aside. In a small greased pie plate arrange the mushrooms on the bottom and top with scallops. Pour butter and garlic over scallops and sprinkle with paprika and bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or bay scallops and 10-15 minutes for sea scallops or until the scallops turn opaque.
