BUTTER PECAN SAUCE 
1/2 cup butter
1 cup pecan pieces
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup cream
1/4 cup corn syrup

In heavy saucepan, melt butter. Add pecans and heat till lightly toasted and butter lightly browned. Stir in sugar, cream and syrup. Cook gently till sugar is completely dissolved. Do not over cook.

Makes 2 cups.
