LEMON BUTTER SAUCE 
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 well-beaten egg

Cook over medium heat. Stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
