1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix less 2/3 c.
1 egg
1/2 c. butter

Mix above and spread in 9x13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown. then mix: 1 c. Karo 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. packed brown sugar Remaining cake mix

Beat for 2 minutes. Pour over bottom layer and top with 1 cup chopped pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Let cool completely, then cut into bars.
